The new layout of google search result makes us not able to filter the image directly. While in past layout we can choose and filter image by size, now we couldn’t find any option to filter the image. If you want to filter the image based on some criteria, you can do this by accessing
http://www.google.com/advanced_image_search
it will give you form to filter and find image more relevanty.
This question came up when i want to search for older email with attachment in Gmail. I just don’t know where is the toolbar location/icon location to sort email based on attachment in gmail.
In yahoo mail we can find sorting option, which can sort email based on some options such as by data and attachment.
In yahoo this feature is provided and help us to find email more easily. Gmail doesn’t provide this feature, but google provide you search box when you can enter search command. Search command that you must enter to filter email with attachment is
filename:(pdf OR mpg OR mpeg OR avi OR wmv OR rar OR zip OR bmp OR mp3 OR wma OR mov)
for example if you want to search for pdf attachment in your email you can just type in the search box
filename:(pdf)
now you will see the list of email with pdf files attachment 🙂
Cookie is small piece of data added by website to client browser. When user, using the browser want to browse the same website, this website can load stored information from the cookie. This information such as user past activity in that website, any page that has been accessed, user login information, etc.

1. Viewing using chrome browser menu
1. Using option icon in chrome (upper-right corner), choose setting
2. Show advanced setting in chrome (u can find the link by navigating to the bottom of the page)
3. Choose “content setting” in Privacy section
4. In Cookies part, choose “all cookies and site data”
5. New window will appear listing all cookies stored in chrome, you can choose to delete it by selecting the cookies and choose remove. However your action is very limited because you can only view and remove the cookie
2. viewing using extension
you can also see google chrome cookie using extension such as Edit This Cookie. It has some feature such as :
However this browser extension has option to add ads or behave like an adware. It is said that it is used to support the extension and unicef but, if found out it is not needed you can just opt-out it in extension setting.

Editing hosts file in windows
Host file in windows is used to map ip address into the its name. By using hosts file we can refers any particular IP address by using the name we specified.
the hosts file contains lines of ip address and its name for example
127.0.0.1 localhost
so every time we use ‘localhost’ in any networking activities in our laptop, this will be translated into 127.0.0.1, which is our loopback ip address, ip address belongs to our own laptop/pc/device.
How to edit hosts file
editing host file in windows is as simple as adding new lines containing ip address, space, and name we want to refer.
for example i want to add ip address 167.205.1.34 which i want it be referred by college.
just add it below the existing line
127.0.0.1 localhost
167.205.1.34 collage
10.2.30.5 office
the steps :
1. the hosts file is located in C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc/
it is file with no extension
2. To open this file, you will need administrator privilege, so you need to open it using any word processor that has administrator privilege confirmed.
for example we can use notepad, but when we want to run notepad,
first, do the right click on notepad icon, then choose ‘run as administrator’, choose yes when dialogue appear
3. in menubar choose File > Open, look for C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
if you don’t see any file, make sure you choose *All File in file type option
4. You will find the hosts file, choose it, and open. Add the ip address and name you want and save those notepad using Ctrl+S.
Blocking web address using host file
Other simple use of Hosts file in windows and other operating system is to block web address. This can be done by pointing any web address which is inn their domain name, to our local ip address. for example, we want to block google.com and facebook.com. Then just add in our hosts file
127.0.0.1 google.com
127.0.0.1 facebook.com
it will point google.com to 127.0.0.1, our own ip address. so it will not reach the real google.com and display nothing in the web browser
have you experienced a moment when you use command prompt and it feels not comfortable? if yes, then the answer is maybe because by default we can not do copy paste in windows command prompt. To enable Copy and Paste function in CMD, we just need 3 step.
1. Open/Run CMD
2. Right Click in Windows Border, choose properties

simply do the right click will paste any previous text stored in clipboard.

Installing different version of windows in one computer may be needed to get one advantage that other version dont offer.
Usually the default boot loader version will be windows version that is installed last. This default boot loader however can choose which windows to load when the booting started. however, You can modify it through msconfig.

Tier 1 network can be understood as rank 1 network, Tier 1 ISP then refers to Rank 1 ISP. from wikipedia the tier 1 network is an internet protocol network that participate in the internet via settlement-free interconnection called settlement free peering.
Tier 2 network / ISP is network that still needs tier 1 ISP reach some portion of (global) internet. This tier 2 ISP pays for unequal traffic flows between them, the term fee-based peering or transit is usually used to refers to this kind of settlement. Tier 2 network may connected through same size network with settlement free peering (tier 2 to tier 2)
While Tier 3 network / ISP is network that is connected to global internet through Tier 2 ISP. as the customer of bigger ISP, they pay for the transit fee to its Tier 1 or Tier 2 ISP.

1. Tier 1 Networks Dont Pay for the trafic between similiar size networks

4. Tier 1 Networks own or lease transoceanic fiberoptic transport
5. Tier 1 Networks deliver packet to and from customer and to and from peers around the world
Peering
in computer networks, peering means voluntary interconnection between separately internet network in purpose for exchange traffic between the customer of each network. Each participant doesn’t pay for the traffic, instead they get the money from their own customer. The term peering is used when two participant shared the same link with same size (equivalent sized partner).
The biggest internet provider that connected accross continent is example of tier 1 ISP. some of them will have underground oceanic backbone to ensure it can deliver the highest data rate.
There are 3 basic form of interconnection rules : public peering, private peering, and transit.
private peering refers to direct interconnection between two ISP. this connection is built via layer 1 and layer 2 link between ISP with similar networks capacity and traffic level. Its exclusive and expensive
public peering refers to multiple interconnection of network through internet exchange. it is the predominant model for exchanging traffic between ISP. The term public implies that many tier 1 or tier 2 networks can connect through it. The service itself can be free and commercial. the commercial one tough, tries to give the experience equal with private peering, they move incredible amount of traffic, without loss.
Transit refers to selling dedicated access through ISP network via private lease-line telecommunications circuits. Transit cost comes from circuit cost and variable cost associated with the traffic carried upstream to the internet.

Minor Minus :
1. Minimized tab representation
one thing i hate from this browser is that this browser still showing multiple icon in our windows taksbar for each tab we open.
somehow this kind of representation makes me think that i had open many programs separately and drives me to think that my laptop works much harder to run each internet explorer tab

beside those disadvantages there is still right click menu option that is missing, there is no ‘show image’ or ‘open image in new tab’
