This is minimal installation of FreeBSD 7 & 8. By installing only minimal package and service means we will learn how to perform installation of services by ourself 🙂

choose A to create auto partition, it will use entire disk as freebsd partition
install boot manager
message asking about partition label inside freebsd
First using keyboar D, delete all auto generated label
Second using keyboard A, we will auto configur label partition, when finished press Q
Here press arrow down button on keyboard and select ‘minimal’ by pressing space button on keyboard, when finished press arrow ‘up’ to ‘exit’, enter
because i use CD/DVD image i choose installation from freebsd CD/DVD
message asking confirmation, choose YES
choose yes if you are connected to internet 🙂
Here i choose my ethernet card labeled em0
i dont configure ipv6 🙂
